Inspiration for This Polar Bear Fairy Tale Wall Art Painting:
I was inspired to paint this fairy tale wall art for my StampFans subscribers. I was reading books and articles about folktales, and came across the Nordic tale of The White Bear King Valemon. A princess agrees to marry a magical talking bear after he offers her a golden wreath in the woods. She goes to live with him in his castle, and discovers he’s actually a prince who has been enchanted by a troll witch. The princess discovered his secret before she was supposed to, which doomed the bear king to have to go marry the troll witch. She then goes on an epic adventure to try and rescue him.
