This acrylic landscape painting is of the Cache la Poudre River. This scene is from a little spot I found tucked away off a hiking trail near downtown Fort Collins, CO. It was a warm day in late fall the first time I saw it. The shade of the big trees offered a cool reprieve from the heat.
