Inspiration for This Painting:
I wanted to do something with my small round watercolor pad that I received in an art box. I’d already made a small circular painting in gouache of a Eurasian blue tit bird, so decided I’d start a series of small birds. The American goldfinch is so vibrant, I thought it’d make a nice subject for my second painting in the series.
